The Cambridge News carries an article about a recent theft of plants from alongside the cycle path between Montreal and Marmora Roads: here.

A note from Romsey Town Cllr Paul Saunders:

“I was disgusted to learn of the theft of these plants. They were only planted a few weeks ago at the specific request of local residents. Local people want to live in an attractive environment and this is a miserable, mean-minded theft.

“These plants were only planted this spring and were obviously targeted by some unscrupulous criminal element.  This is a theft from the whole community and damages what should be a pleasant place for all citizens.

“If anyone saw anything suspicious do contact the Police (you can use the 101 number for non-urgent calls) or the council. ”
