A message from Cambridge E-cops dated 06/08/2015:

We have received 13 reports of thefts from vehicles in Cambridge city from 1st – 6th August, which is higher than we would normally record over a six day period.

These thefts have occurred in the following locations:

NORTH – Longworth Avenue, Campkin Rd, Arbury Court, Ellesmere Rd, Colwyn Close and Kings Hedges Rd

EAST – Dunsmore Close, Coldhams Lane, Coral Park Trading Estate, Wadloes Rd

WEST – 3 x Clerk Maxwell Road

Items stolen include:

8 x vehicles entered and tools removed
5 x CAT convertors removed
2 x wallets removed

A white van with cloned number plates OY60VML was seen driving around the Madingley Road area on the morning of Tuesday 4th August.

Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity around vehicles Cambridge.

Make sure you remove all items from vehicles before leaving them unattended.
